Websites I Think You Should Know About

The internet is full of incredible tools—some hidden in plain sight—that can make your life a whole lot easier. Whether you’re looking to save money, streamline your shipping, or protect your inbox, these are websites worth bookmarking.

Temp Mail

This is for when you don't want the spam.... Ever need to sign up for something just to see what’s inside, but don’t want to hand over your real email? TempMail.org gives you a temporary, disposable email address you can use for newsletters, free trials, or sites you don’t fully trust yet. I use this ALL the time for discount codes when a place offers me a 'give us your email and we'll give you a discount.' I highly recommend you use it when testing out new online services to keep your main inbox clean.

Pirate Ship

This is one of my FAVORITES. If you sell products online, ship packages regularly, or just like sending gifts, PirateShip.com is a game-changer. It gives you access to the same discounted USPS and UPS rates that big companies use—no monthly fees, no hidden charges.

I’ve personally used it to ship everything from small packages to giant boxes that were “too big” for standard shipping. One package I sent was quoted at around **$120** at the store because it supposedly needed to be freight shipped. Pirate Ship got it there through UPS for **$35** instead. Since then, I’ve shipped several boxes that would’ve cost $25–$35 at a store for anywhere between **$7.98 and $10**. The savings are wild once you start using it.

As a note, you'll want to make sure you have a measuring tape and scale at the house! :)

 Cost Plus Drugs

CostPlusDrugs.com , founded by Mark Cuban, offers prescriptions at cost plus a small markup. It’s an eye-opener if you’ve ever been shocked at the price of your medication—many are listed for a fraction of retail cost.

When my insurance changed what medications they wanted to cover, one or two of my medications were no longer covered, and suddenly my total cost jumped to around $175 for just 30 day (which, for the record, 30 days was all my insurance would ever cover). That’s when I made the switch to Cost Plus Drugs. Even with a couple of new medications added since then, I now pay about $68 for a full 90-day supply of ALL my medications—and I get everything shipped straight to my door.

You don't have to sign up right away. You can use their search tool to compare what you’re currently paying—many customers save 70–90%.

These sites are like digital life hacks—free, fast, and surprisingly powerful. Whether you’re protecting your privacy, shipping smarter, or saving on prescriptions, they’re perfect examples of how smart tech can simplify everyday life.
