A 24-hour, sundown-to-sundown break from screens, observed the first Friday–Saturday of March. Before you unplug, take a minute to make sure your devices are updated and your home network is secure so you can log off with peace of mind.

World Backup Day — March 31

A global reminder to back up important files, photos, and documents. Cloud backups work best when you have a fast, reliable internet connection — making this a good reminder to check your home Wi-Fi setup too.

APRIL

Spring Tech Cleaning Season

A good time to delete unused apps, update devices, replace aging equipment, and check home Wi-Fi coverage. If your Wi-Fi has any “dead zones,” this is a great time to troubleshoot or explore solutions to improve coverage.

MAY

Pre-Summer Upgrade Check + Pioneer Annual Meeting

As routines change for summer, this is a good time to evaluate internet speeds and smart home devices. It’s also when Pioneer hosts its Annual Meeting — a chance for members to see how the cooperative is building, upgrading, and expanding fiber to keep our communities connected.
