We’re excited to have this talented group joining us for the summer. They’ll be gaining hands-on experience, learning from our teams, and exploring future careers in technology, marketing, cybersecurity, and more.
Learn a little more about them and help us welcome them to Pioneer!
Cherish Adams – Information Security Analyst Intern
Cherish is from Yukon, Oklahoma, and is a student at Yukon High School studying cybersecurity. She was drawn to Pioneer after meeting with Daniel and learning more about his team, which helped spark her interest in the internship program.
Cherish has always been interested in information security, especially the work that goes into keeping digital environments secure. This summer, she is excited to continue building her skills and knowledge in the field.
“I’m excited to grow my skills and knowledge in any way I can,” Cherish said.
Outside of cybersecurity, Cherish enjoys making music and drawing. She describes herself as calm, observant, and creative, and says her favorite thing about her hometown is her friends. By the end of her internship, success means leaving with more knowledge than she had when she started.
Daniel Yeaman – Software Engineer Intern
Daniel is from Edmond and is studying Computer Science with a minor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. He was drawn to Pioneer because of the opportunity to learn and work with software at an Oklahoma-based company. This summer, he is most excited to learn more about creating production-ready software and applications.
Daniel has always been fascinated by computers and technology, and after graduation, he hopes to continue working full-time in software engineering. He is looking forward to working on projects that are used by the team and continuing to build his programming and problem-solving skills. One motto he carries with him came from his father: “Learn by doing,” something he will be able to put to work himself while at Pioneer!
Outside of school and technology, Daniel enjoys anything related to music, including writing, playing, and listening to music. He is also a big Thunder fan and enjoys the growth and sense of community in the Edmond and Oklahoma City area. Daniel describes himself as dedicated, enthusiastic, and driven.
Emma Stover - Marketing Associate Intern
Emma is from Okarche, Oklahoma, and is currently studying Marketing at Oklahoma State University. She was drawn to Pioneer because of the opportunity to grow professionally while staying close to home. This summer, Emma is excited to explore the different paths within marketing and gain experience in several areas of the field.
“With marketing, there are so many different paths, and narrowing down exactly which one I want to take is a big goal this summer,” Emma said.
Emma hopes to further develop her graphic design skills and one day work on fun campaigns that allow her to tap into her creative side.
Outside of school, Emma enjoys running and has completed a half marathon. She describes herself as bubbly, energetic, and talkative, and says one of her favorite things about her hometown is how supportive and welcoming the community is.
By the end of her internship, Emma hopes to leave with a clearer idea of the career path she wants to pursue.
Haley Tolle - IP Network Tech Intern
Haley Tolle is from Waukomis and recently graduated high school. She studied Information Technology and Network Technology at Autry Technology Center in Enid, Oklahoma, and was first introduced to Pioneer through a presentation at Autry. This summer, Haley is excited to learn more about what happens at Pioneer and see how networking works in a real-world setting.
Networking has been a dream field for Haley since she was a kid, and she hopes to continue her education while building skills that will help her in a future technology career. “I want to learn everything I can while I am here and become knowledgeable in this field,” she said.
Outside of school and technology, Haley enjoys drawing, gaming, spending time with family, and dyeing her hair a different color each month. She describes herself as smart, easy-going, and confident. One of her favorite things about her hometown is the way the Waukomis community supports one another, especially after the tornado in Enid.
Jaxon Wright - IT Computer Technician Intern
Jaxon Wright is from Hollis and is studying Information Technologies and Cybersecurity at OSU-OKC. He was drawn to Pioneer because of the familiarity of working close to his hometown, along with the opportunity to gain experience in the field.
Jaxon’s interest in technology started with video games, computers, and the technology he uses day to day. He has already built both his and his fiancé’s computers, and hopes to continue growing his knowledge and career in the IT field.
This summer, he is especially looking forward to “the amount of experience I can gain concerning networking, hardware management, and software management.”
Outside of school and technology, Jaxon enjoys listening to and playing music, running, weight lifting, playing video games, and getting into home-labbing (the hobby of building and managing personal servers, storage, and networking hardware in your home). He describes himself as passionate, driven, and kind. Something people may be surprised to learn about him is that he already has an associate degree at 19.
Seth Wilson - System Integrator Intern
Seth is from Enid, Oklahoma, and is currently studying Computer Science at Oklahoma State University. He was drawn to Pioneer because of its close connection to home and the impact the company has on the communities it serves. This summer, Seth is most excited to gain hands-on experience, learn from professional developers, and strengthen his skills in system integration, APIs, databases, and full-stack development.
After graduation, Seth hopes to stay in the tech industry and become a full-time programmer. Outside of school and coding, he enjoys golf, basketball, running, following stocks, and spending time with friends. A retired D1 athlete, Seth describes himself as ambitious, competitive, and genuine.
By the end of his internship, Seth hopes to walk away with meaningful connections and real-world programming experience.
“Success looks like making meaningful connections, developing real-world programming experience, and walking out of the internship knowing I tried my best,” Seth said.
Welcome to Pioneer, everyone!
